And can these lenses be cleaned? Secondly, to what extent does fog, haze or fungus affect picture = quality? I have a 50/1.5 Summarit in M mount that is definitely cloudy, but only = around the outside of the second element from the front. If you stop = the lens down to f/4 and look through the back of the lens with a = flashlight shining from the front, the aperture blades cover the fog, = fungus or haze. Does this mean that the fogging will only affect photographs at f/4 or = larger apertures? or will the fogging affect photos at all apertures? I supposed testing might answer the last question, so I tested the = Summarit against my 3-year-old Sigma 24-70 in EOS mount at 50mm, using = the nearest brick wall, which showed the Summarit to be substantially = sharper, but I've a feeling that's not much of a test!!! Finally, I'm interested in obtaining via purchase or trade a 35mm M lens = with or without eyes. If anyone is interested in my Summarit please = e-mail me directly.
