With as many complaints from the LUG about Leica lenses that fall apart, flaky dinglehoobies, and interior smudgies, I do shudder to think what might happen. <BIG grin here!> I do think that the KIEV USA company has gone a long way toward remediating the situation; I am sure that market pressures on Kiev will eventually make their operation better. I have seriously thought about a Kiev, especially since Herbert Keppler's article in the July Pop Photography, but Old Thing tells me I have more cameras than I can carry now, so I must wait! This Ukraine outfit made/makes the Fed and Arsenal cameras too, don't they? Dan'l dwpost@msn.com
