Tom,

A couple of months ago I bought a dual range 50mm Summicron (second type). 
I've been checking the archives, and I came across one of your postings
about this lens.  I agree that it is a signature lens, but could you please
further explain why those lenses with serial numbers above 2,100,000 are
different - and about your experience
with this lens in general.
