I was using f8 at 1/125 with the 90 Summicron.

Beyond this weekend's results, my original
question (focus procedure) remains.  If I focus
the M6 from infinity-in, and look at the lens focusing
scale, then do the same thing from close-out, and
look at the lens focusing scale again, it will be in
a very slightly different position.

With wide angle lenses, there doesn't seem to
be any difference.  With longer lenses, the difference is
quite noticeable (especially with a 135mm).

I've been told this behavior is normal on any
rangefinder.  Its because pressure is on the
cam in a different direction.  On my Mamiya-6,
I'm told I should definitely focus close, then
work outward.

My remaining question is:  which focus direction
is correct on the Leica?
