You might have hit on something here.  Maybe the S1 will become popular as a trendy retro digital portrait camera, reminiscent of the old days of the daguerrotype.  Chairs with head supports to help immobilize subjects during long exposures will reappear in portrait studios.  Watch for the upcoming issue of Wired magazine at newsstands everywhere...
