It's a mid '70s scale focusing rangefinder camera with a Zeiss f3.5 40mm lens. The camera has given me wonderful pictures, and is quite robust. I don't fear taking it anywhere. These cameras routinely come up for sale on eBay and sell for under $200. They also turn up in used camera stores, but are usually priced higher than they should be. If you really want a new electronic P&S, the Rollei Prego and Samsung series of cameras is also quite nice. They come with optics by Schneider. Good luck with your decision. > > From: TonynyX44@aol.com > > Date: Tue, 16 Jun 1998 22:35:58 EDT > > Subject: Re: [Leica] Leica-Users List Digest V3 #128 > > > > I'm looking for a P&S camera for times when I don't feel like lugging my R8 > > around.
