Hi Gerd,

You do have a point there. I am copying my reply to the LUG so that other
Europeans on it can benefit from it too. Transferring money to Phong in the
USA may well be more expensive that just coughing up the customs duty and
VAT. I have a possible solution here. I happen to have a bank account in the
USA (there is even money in it :-)), so Phong could send all the finders
destined for European destinations to me, I would pay him with a US check,
and each of the other Europeans could then pay me either with a Eurocheque or
by sending cash in an envelope; since I travel around Europe a lot, I can
always use DM, UK pounds, NLG, FF, SEK or DKR.

So far I see that three Europeans have expressed interest: you, me, and
Martin in Sweden. That is quite a manageable number. If it is acceptable to
Phong and to the two of you, I would be happy to serve in an intermediary
role. I guess this would bring the final cost to each of us to something like
$100-$110, however. Let me know what you think.
