I am copying my reply to the LUG so that other Europeans on it can benefit from it too. Transferring money to Phong in the USA may well be more expensive that just coughing up the customs duty and VAT. I have a possible solution here. I happen to have a bank account in the USA (there is even money in it :-)), so Phong could send all the finders destined for European destinations to me, I would pay him with a US check, and each of the other Europeans could then pay me either with a Eurocheque or by sending cash in an envelope; since I travel around Europe a lot, I can always use DM, UK pounds, NLG, FF, SEK or DKR. So far I see that three Europeans have expressed interest: you, me, and Martin in Sweden. That is quite a manageable number. If it is acceptable to Phong and to the two of you, I would be happy to serve in an intermediary role. I guess this would bring the final cost to each of us to something like $100-$110, however. Let me know what you think. Nathan Gerd Hechtfischer wrote: > I am also interested in buying such a finder. I am located in Munich, > Germany.
