Try for yourself Michael Hintlian ================================================= I tried to buy a new M3 bottom plate from Leica & they told me that they were not available but they could sell me for $250, a M4 plate with the basket & I could then remove the basket & use the plate on my M3 - as the basket was only a film guide that an experienced Leica user could well do without.
