The Libretto beats the Pilot and any Win CE machine hands-down in terms of performance (it is a fully functional PC), but is without a doubt bigger and heavier. I tried both the Pilot and WinCE (a Velo) hoping they could substitute for the Libretto on days I didn't want to lug the Libretto around, but for me they just don't do the job. Toshiba has discontinued the Libretto 50CT, and it is being sold for US $599-699 right now. That makes it competitive with WinCE machines, but still more than the Pilot. There is a fairly active Libretto User Group (yet another LUG?).
