Come on, Ted, sometimes the German/Canadian question has a real place in a purchasing decision. For example, when I bought a new 75/1.4 recently, I made sure I got a Canadian one -- I had no interest in experiencing any teething problems the still-quite-new German production run might be having, and I wasn't sure if whatever they'd changed to lighten the puppy up had any influence on sturdiness. -Jeff Moore <jbm@instinet.com>
