Charlie,
The focus seemed rough.  I just thought that Leica had come out with a cheap
normal lens like they did a long time ago for the R system.  Since the 50
Summicron costs less than half what the Summilux costs,  you would think that
some cost cutting went on with the lens but maybe I just ran across an exception.

As for the M6HM...  I'm a long-time M3 user so I prefer the HM over the regular
M6.  I'm waiting to see if they'll come out with a chrome version of it.   I
didn't like the older M6 because of the viewfinder clutter and because I use the
90 a lot.   The biggest driving force to obtain an M6 is to be able to upgrade to
a new 35.  The RF-Summicron I have is great but I lust after something new in
this focal length.  What I REALLY lust after is the rumored 90 mm APO Summicron
