That is backwards. Angineaux designed the 28-80 2.6-3....whatever the
aperture is at the long end, and when Angineaux closed their doors to 35mm
lens manufacture, they sold the tools to Tokina. And that would seem to be
the case, since the Tokina lens didn't exist until Angineaux was out of
business.
