Actually, there are different photographic uses for the products of
each of the Scotch regions.  I find the Lowlands calm my nerves
and give me an extra shutter speed or two.  A good Highland like
Macallan enhances my previsualization of the Leica glow, and
Islay malts (or Talisker) rekindle the artistic fire in my belly.
