Subject: Re: [Leica] Query about Tamron Manual Focus 28-105/ f2,8 LD zoom

I have an heretical question.( I can hear it now- +ACI- That boy is a-goin'
t'Hell fer real+ACEAIg-)
I have heard so many good things about the Tamron f2,8/ 28-105mm zoom, that
I am actually thinking of getting one. The speed interests me, as I have
considered the new Leica-R 35-70/f4, but this is too slow.
I have used Tamron lenses before, with the adaptall mount, and found them,
with a few exceptions, to be rather good lenses.
Anyone out there with info? TIA
Dan'l
