I'm vague on what the information that I received was about joining, but my basic reaction was, "who the hell do these people think they are?" Sorry I can't be more specific as I just don't remember, all I can recall is I was very peed off about what seemed a rather pompous attitude. I had been very interested in joining, but was totally turned off by the received literature. I don't imagine the association is using the same paper work these days, but a bunch of you lads whom I know via the LUG as members gives a whole new meaning to giving it another try at joining.:) If someone sends along membership paper work or e-mail information, I'd like to submit for membership. Hopefully I'll make it this time! :) A little side note: About 4 ? years ago Leica was going to send me to your annual meeting as the guest speaker and at the last minute it was changed for some reason. I believe I was bumped for a wheeler dealer from Germany.:) I thought it was rather ironic that here I was a Leica user for so many years, who had applied to become a member and didn't make it, now I'm going as a guest speaker!:) Oh well it didn't happen in both cases, maybe in the future. :) Ted Grant This is Our Work.
