I dunno about Nikon rangefinders, but I think the "silence" of the M6 is is
only a big deal these days because everything else is motorized, and sounds
like it. A camera equipped with a leaf shutter will more than give it a run
for it's money.

An M6 sounds like an M4 sounds like an M3 to me!
