Very sharp to the very corners and very nice 'bokeh'. I found a little vignetting at full aperture, that does not bother me, taking in account that I deliberately underexposed. Actually, in such situatiuons my R19 mm/2.8(new model) also showed a little vignetting, and that should be the best wide-angle available. I see no difference in color with my 50/2. Now the finder. The Leica finder, on loan, is dreadful. It shows you what you take but what you see geves no pleasure. I have therfor tried the finder that comes with the Ricoh 28mm GR lens for the M (Yes!) I think that finder, very similar to the Contax finders, shows, in total, a fine 24 mm fied, when you forget the 28mm lines. My dealer is trying to get me one. It is less expensive ( my dealer always says: Leica is not expensive, but does cost a lot of money) and nicely crafted out of metal. Not out of uninpiring plastic.
