Nathan, I would suggest you buy new in any case. Why don't you have a look at German prices? They are usually cheaper for new Leica gear than over here in Belgium. Plus there is the VAT question: an outrageous 21% in Belgium, and 16% in Germany. And most important: good German dealers have much more items in stock than is the case over here. Plus, if they have to order it from Leica Solms, it takes much shorter to get it. I have already done business in a very satisfactory way with two German dealers: - - Foto Hobby, Rossmarkt 23 in Frankfurt (Nicolas Uhl), tel 069-91397362, fax 069-91397363, e-mail: 101.71676@germanynet.de. Mailorder is no problem. They send via UPS. Send them an e-mail for a price quote and availability. - - Foto Lambertin Profishop, Wallrafplatz in K=F6ln, tel 0221-2578753, fax 0221-2578735. Unfortunately no e-mail. They only send on specific request, and thru normal post which takes longer. Both take credit cards. Of the two, I would suggest you try Nicolas Uhl at Foto Hobby. They are very helpful and fast. Best greetings, Pascal Belgium - ------------------------------------------------------- Who else than Leica could make a camera like the R8 ?
