Luggers,

OK, I have a confession: I have been unable to find the
reference which translates the Leica language of NOOKY,
SOOKY, OTFOO, et al., into photographic terms.

What is the scheme and story behind this encoding?

A pointer to this information, or better yet - posting
it, would be appreciated.
