Subject: [Leica] Tamron vs Leica - What are you nuts???

	I know this may sound silly to some, but I need a lens in the 180 range
now and I just can't wait until the 180 f3.4APO is within my budget.  So
I'm looking at:

	Leica  180 f2.8 old
	Tamron 180 f2.5 LD

	Normally I would just go for the Leica, but I have heard wonderful things
about the Tamron, even on this list, and some not so wonderful about the
older Leica.  So I need help.  I plan to go on a weekend trip soon and I
want it by then.


Help!!
