I dont know about a satisfying experience but for me it is absolutely necessary to us= e cameras that operate the same way. Both are rangefinder basic and have t= he same 2:3 image ratio. external light meter (incident). I use them hand held from either a hired chase boat or my own boat, to photograph yachts and power boats. The 2:3 image ratio is a must to fit in the proportions of a sailboat plus mast so 4x5 wouldn't work for me as I would have to cr= op down. I must admit that the M2's are backup only and only get used when = I run out of loaded backs for the Linhof. Alan Hull
