We had a wonderful trip to Nome! Last week we received our 20 rolls of =
Kodachrome back and we are in the middle of sorting them. Unfortunately =
it was not as cold as I was hoping for, between 28 and 38 F! Poor dogs =
had to pull the sleds over asphalt the last mile. We got many really =
nice pictures, but unfortunately more than I would like to admit I =
occasionally did proof that snow is NOT 18% gray!

One of the Musher's lead dog carried a diamond ring around his neck all =
the way from Anchorage. After arriving in Nome he proposed to his =
girlfriend. Not knowing what really happened I was jus shooting =
(photographing ... taking pictures ... please help!) with the Noctilux =
the whole action and the pictures turned out quite nice (so said =
Katariina).

The whole trip was wonderful. No problems with the cameras (M3, M6, R6 =
and R7) except with the lightmeter on the M3. It worked in low light =
(red setting) but at 'normal' setting I underexposed by at least 3 to 4 =
stops. Fortunately they where mainly TMax 400 and we could salvage some =
of it.

Katariina will add a site to her web very soon =
(www.mindspring.com/~kati) and we can share with y'all the great time we =
had!
