Subject: [Leica] Grease in the Lens

Greetings,

	Working on a picnic bench yesterday, I was dusting the back element of
a 35mm f/2 yesterday when I noticed a little clump of grease from the focusing
threads. With a toothpick I removed it, but I could easily have picked it up in
the brush hairs and wiped it all over the lens element. It's a new lens,
pre-ASPH. It was surprising to learn that the focusing threads are exposed at
the back.
