I have to say the idea of an M camera with fast, accurate autofocusing -
unlike that on the Contax G-1 - true manual focusing override - unlike that
on the G series - and spot metering would be really appealing. On the other
hand, my guess is that would mean the end of the compact size...A camera
doesn't need to cut the lawn, change the baby's diapers, and paint the
house, but a couple of modern features might be nice.
