What I don't understand about the new M polarizer
is why Leica is offering as accessorie the =

E49 adapter which is accepted only by the =

third M-28/2,8 (made from 1979-93), =

and not the E43 adapter which  will =

work on thousands of M-50/1,4 (1959-96)  ??
(Especially because the old Polarizer made
for it (13 351) is so difficult to find in good shape.)
