If you say it's ahead optically, it'll be worth seeing if I can find one to buy. Is there any way that it can work on an M-camera, I'd presume it's solely LTM and therefore not viable? jem ---------- From: 'leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us' To: KIMEJ44; 'leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us' Subject: Re: [Leica] 2x tele converter for leica Date: 01 April 1998 07:13 At 09:27 AM 3/31/98 +0000, Jem Kime wrote: > >As far as I know, 2 teleconverters were made for the Leica, >Russia made one, in screw mount, which was fairly basic and rare, >and Komura made the other in a much more professional way... >It was their famous Telemore II, sold in many other camera mounts. Jem The Soviet unit is actually Ukrainian, not Russian. I own one, and dissent from your comments -- mine is much more finely made than the rather crude Komura and is a world ahead optically. It's fun to hook it up to a 2/85 CZJ Sonnar and pop away with a 4/170 lens, which is about the limit of the VF for accuracy.
