Well folks,

You are on you own. Go use those UV filters, go precisely measure that M6
metering area, go focus at infinity!!! I won't be watching. I (the filter
police, M6 meter police, the hyperfocal focus police...) am going for a
week of photographing along the CA coast. Monterey to Big Sur. Mostly 4x5
Linhof for landscapes, some R7 for macro and telephoto, and some M6 around
town. 60 sheets of quickload Velvia for the Linhof, a brick (no pun
intended) of 35mm Velvia for the R7, a few rolls of E200 and T400CN for the
M6. AND... A VERY VERY PATIENT WIFE, who will sit for hours, log my
exposures, label exposed film, and continue to smile while I'm having fun.
No xray machines this trip. It's only 1hr 15min from home. I'm taking
borrowed Leica UV and B+W MC UV filters. I am going to run some flare
tests. You notice I said borrowed.

See you all next week,

Jim
