Bonsoir a tous,

Alastair, about your trip to Japan, this will sound so simple, but I ll
write it anyways. I ve done a bit of travel with my spouse and found that
it is so much easier if I dont take sole and full responsability for
photography. Personnaly, I much prefer to use M with 35, 50, 90 and 135.
However my spouse prefers reflex viewing, so I go for both systems. My M
outfit is M6 plus 35 plus 90 crons. Her R outfit is 28, 50 and 180. Since
she knew little about photography, I taught her the basics. Now when we
travel she does her share and I can concentrate on seems essential to me.
So much better that way, no more... Look, this would make for a nice shot...
By the way, did you think about getting your nieces involved with the
photography side of the trip? If they like friendly competition, a theme
(best portrait, best silly shot, etc) may help to arouse their interest.

In any case, bon voyage and please tell us all when you come back

   A la prochaine,

   Robert.
