If that is to be taken literally, why didn't Leica just build one in like Nikon has been doing with their 300 2.8s for the last 10 yeras or so? Note it says CAN. And other references from Leica do say there is degradation of image quality. So what are you going to do. Suffer for no good reason (in most situations) and lessen the reason to buy Leica in the first place?
