Yes, the optical formula may be the same on the two versions of the 75mm
Summilux (and on the new one coming soon from Germany) and the wight of the
first version with detachable shade may be attractive, but be forewarned
that that neat slotted shad, if attached, actually blocks the rangefinder
patch - one of Leitz's more notorious design failures. That's why they
switched to the built-in shade.
