I agree with you, it's very easy to miss an image because of that.
What I will also love to see on the 80-200/4, and also
on all the 180's, is a built-in rotating tripod thread
like on the latest 250/4 (discontinued), it was so well made
and a real bonus in use.

Maybe on the new 180/2,8 APO ??
