Subject: [Leica] Re: (Off Topic) Delta 400 pushed to 1600

Hi Friends

I shot a roll of Delta 400 on my M6 and Noctilux and rated the film at
1600. I then pushed processed the film to 1600 with Kodak HC 110B and
developed it for 14 mins at 20 deg C. During the development the
temperature did creep up to about 24 deg just before I poured the developer
away.

The grain structure remained nice altough coarser. Density was acceptable
and the contrast was superb when I printed the negs onto grade 2-3 paper.
The Noctilus of course displayed its usual characteristic of corner
vignetting (used at f1.2) but this was hardly noticeable when the negs were
printed slightly cropped.

This is the second time I have pushed a film (the first time was also Delta
400 and pushed to 800) and I am happy with the way Delta 400 handles it.
