Has anyone played with the Leica S1 digital (studio) camera? The Adobe
acrobat spec sheet for it looks great and includes great looking photos.
(Available at: http://www.leica-camera.com/elec_img/pdf/s1_e.pdf) Resolution
is 5140x5140 and color depth is 36-bits. Takes Leica-M, Leica-R,
Hassleblad or other SLR lenses. The CCD is 36mm wide so lenses optimized
for 35mm film work great.
How much does it cost?
When they can put this technology in something the size of an M6 for the
price of an M6, I'll be the first one lined up for one!
