This hood can be separated into two parts by unscrewing the front and back parts. A Series 7 filter can now be inserted, and then the parts are put together again. This autumn I bought a 12585H (for 35 and 50) that can be pulled apart in the very same way. I have had many 12585:s, and boy was I amazed when I discovered that feature on this one. (I have another marked 12585H, and that one is rigid, just like the others marked 12585). Has anyone else on the LUG seen this one? /Hans - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Mail: hans.pahlen@mark.komvux.se URL: http://www.komvux.skola.mark.se/hp635.htm Mirror URL: http://home2.swipnet.se/~w-24872/ - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -----Original Message----- From: cmbrow@mail.wm.edu <cmbrow@mail.wm.edu> To: leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us <leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us> Date: den 19 februari 1998 20:43 Subject: [Leica] Query Now that I've completely alienated the list, er...introduced myself, I feel comfortable in asking a question. I just recd. my used Summilux 35/1.4. It came with a hood/filter combo that I've not seen before, part#12504. It appears that the filter is an integral part of the hood. What have I got. How does one change/replace the filter? Many thanks. In reponse to Lucien's posting of models: isn't the M2-R missing, or does memory deceive?
