Subject: [Leica] Does anybody know this lens ?

Beside Ted Grant's very fine Ben Johnson picture at p 280, the 
book "75 years of Leica photography" shows a picture from 
Anton Baumann at p 93 of a "typical US woman in 1936" holding 
a Leica IIIa.

The lens looks like an early 1.5/50 Xenon or a 2/85 Sonnar.
It's too long for a 1.5/50 Sonnar.

Is anybody able to identify the lens ?

Please, avoid "Yes" or "No"  as the only answer :)
