Perhaps but I doubt they'll lose much sleep over it. :-)

Quite true... but then I did not say they were automobile engineers.  What I
did say was this, "Just what I always wanted, a camera designed by people
with automobiles named like them.<<

I do not believe I disparaged Porsche in that I thought I made my intent
clear, e.g., Rollei's seemingly heavier play on the design team as opposed
to function and performance as a tool of the photographic trade.  But then I
doubt they give two hoots in hell what I think. :-)
