Subject: [Leica] Leica lll

Hi there I am a new subscriber to this list.

I have just bought a Leica lll at a camera fair here in the UK and I
intend to use it rather than put it into a display cabinet. It came
with a 50mm f3.5 Elmar.

I have a Sekonic light meter which has completely different f stops and
shutter speeds to those on the camera so is it worth buying a Weston
meter to put on the <hotshoe>? My head is not quite upto trying to
convert and I have been setting approx equivalents. On a print film
this is not too bad but I don't think there is that much tolerance when
using slide film.

Any comments on the camera would be gratefully received including some
advice on the next lens to look out for...I was thinking of a 35mm.
