C'mon, guys - no lens is "track sharp" at wide open. Specially,
when you compare 35 mm format hand-held wide-open-pix to MF or 
LF stopped down tripod pictures.

But, that's not the intention of the Leitz lenses - in my mind. 
The intention of Leitz glass is to give to you the best choice 
of all possibilities under bad conditions.

Different, if you have "the" news pix which nobody else has, each 
news or tv station will show it, no matter whether it's taken with 
a P&S or the Noctilux. And noone cares either.
