I have both a DR Summicron and a recent (clip on hood) 50 Summilux. From
f2.8 downwards there is not much to choose between them. At f2, I think
the DR has a *slight* edge. When used at 1.4, the Summilux performs well,
probably better than most other 1.4/50s. However, I am not one who loves
the shallow DOF look of 1.4 shots, and will only use this opening when
conditions demand it.
