Dear Fellow LUGnuts,

In checking the most recent listing by Leica, the 135/2.8 lens doesn't seem
to be in the listing anymore. Has this lens been discontinued?

I owned the newer design 135/4 lens for a while. It was good lens with
excellent optics. The lens evaluation report that Leica reprints from
Gernany listed the 135/4 as one of the sharpest in the group of M lenses.
I eventually traded it in for a newer wideangle lens. I new use my R8 with
the 80-200/4 zoom lens for the longer focal lengths.

Happy shooting,

Richard
