The images flow and glow. Three dimensional effects are enhanced. Backgrounds have a pastel-like quality. It is difficult to put these qualities into words. >> Perhaps the words are astigmatism, coma and spherical abberation. But admittedly these can yield a nice effect. I have a Canon 135 2.8 soft focus lens that purposely does this and yield lovely soft photos that float and soar. Tom Shea
