Subject: [Leica] Noctilux: is the new Hood worth $200

I have sent my Noctilux to solms to get it serviced - it was sticky at about 3
meters. For about 200 additional $$ they transform it to the new built in
hood. 
Is it worth the money? To have the hood always at hand and no need to fiddle
with cap vs. hood seems intriguing. However the old hood with a small leather
bag does almost the same thing.

What do you think?
