For instence, I just bought from leica a beautifull binocular (around 8000 bucks; in other days, they were build by Wild...). To make photographs with it, the leica company "gave" me a...Pentax K1000 body. They're telling that leica bodies are too expensives and not worth for that kind of photos...Moreover, I've used many cameras (Nikons, Canons the F1s) on leitz microscopes or leica bodies on any microscopes (Zeiss, Olympus...) and there was no trouble. I've also seen that people were using the visoflex lenses on T90 bodies which is a good idea to give a new life to these lenses. I've also used the "reprovit" lenses with any kind of bellows and bodies with great results. What is important is the photographs you get! And of course, leica lenses can help! Well, I really don't care. >/Hans > > > >Some postings to the rec.photo.equipment.35mm newsgroup that may be of >interest to the list: > > > >
