I thought this was supposed to be a Leica M group.>>>> Tom. Your right! However we are all Leica folks so it all gets mixed and mashed and we have a very good time. We learn from each other and whats good for an M one day is quite often the same for the R. The models of your choice, but the M's are the big guns!!! And many of us own and use both, so that kinda adds to the mixture (confusion) :) somedays. So hang onto to the seat of your pants, we fly low and fast having fun talking Leica. Some days it's all M and the next its, a bit of R's but generally it leans to the M ( then other days!) :) OK who has the new R winder yet? :) I hear some guys in the UK have them already, but no reports yet. >> Right! I have both sytems + other stuff as well. I love cameras, lens and the images that they produce. Can't get enough. R equipment is just as important as M. They do different things and I use/need them both. Bob
