I don't know about the "official" information, but I *do* know that, for 12
years, I used the 40 and 90 Leitz CL lenses on both my CLE and my M3, and
never experienced a focusing problem of any kind; also used the 28
Elmarit-M on my CLE with good results.  I think it's much ado about nothing.
