in 1980 the serial numbers of leica lenses was between
3.013.651 and 3.087.000.

The production of last Summicron 35/2  before 35/2 ASPH
start with the serial number 2.974.251 I think between
1979/80

|I saw one 35/2 summicron M in a shop, I have checked the
serial number,
|belong to 1980 production. Made in Canada as shown on the
lens.

|Question is, can I assume this is the version before
current ASP version?
