But before you came, we had the gosh-darnedest morass of metaphysical mental masturbation you ever saw. When I saw your question, I felt myself being pulled toward that chronsynclastic infundibulum of flummery again! Suffice it to say, that in any given Leica lens, that if the in-focus results are superior, then it follows that any out-of-focus results will also be superior when compared to a non-Leica lens. Leica lenses are superior. period.
