My 2.8 35mm Summaron has two set screws and a pin that joins the viewer to
the lens. If those screws are removed, the viewer assembly easily detaches,
the lens only retains a small plate, part of the mount at the top, which in
no way interferes with the use of the lens an any M camera. In effect the
lens becomes a standard M mount 35mm 2.8 Summaron. One of Leitz's best.
