Subject: [Leica] Apo Lenses for the M6

Does anyone know why there are no apochromatic lenses for the M6
or is this a stupid question?.
It may be that at the shorter focal lengths for the M6 lenses the
color spectrum focusing is coincedent with the focal plane, however
there is a 100mm apo lens for the r system.
