Gabe,

Sorry to bother you again but would u know if the serial#'s of the r series
slr are the same to the M series in such that they correspond to the time
they are made? I have a copy of serial# for the M's and I wonder if this is
applicable to the R series as well ?

example, serial #1669350 for M6 made in 1985, does this mean that an R with
a similar serial# series is also made in 85 ?
